Line Break dissolves the boundaries between land and sea, erasing latitude, longitude, and national borders to reveal the artificiality of these divisions. It removes all recognizable landforms and presents instead undifferentiated blue and green. Land and water is no longer concrete but rather inferred. As green and blue merge, the work questions whether we can still grasp the entirety of the planet once these frameworks disappear. By challenging geographic and ideological boundaries, Line Break questions whether borders clarify reality or obscure it. Through this dissolution, the work urges a reconsideration of our place in an interconnected, indivisible world, prompting us to reflect on how we define, control, and ultimately belong to the spaces we inhabit, and whether true connection lies beyond imposed divisions.
